Literature

books, plays & poetry

Fluent text generation is climbing fast, while a distinct authorial voice and intent remain hard for the machine to hold.

Literature makes meaning out of language: books, plays, poetry, a voice a reader trusts. AI can now produce fluent prose, plot scaffolds, pastiche and endless drafts, so the raw generation of text is increasingly cheap. What does not transfer is authorship: a point of view, a reason the work exists, the judgment of what is worth saying. Exposure is rising on the page; the voice behind it is the firmer ground.
